About The Position

In its Assisted Living Facility setting, the Physical Therapist evaluates and treats a diverse geriatric population recovering from orthopedic surgeries, neurological events, cardiac conditions, and general deconditioning. The therapist develops individualized treatment plans, collaborates with nursing, physicians, families, and the broader interdisciplinary care team, and helps patients work toward their highest level of independence. The role offers a manageable caseload and respect for clinical judgment. New graduates are encouraged to apply and receive structured mentorship. Flexible scheduling options are available for full-time, part-time, and per-diem work.

Requirements

• Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) or a Master's degree from an accredited physical therapy program.
• Current or eligible for a New York State physical therapist license.
• Passion for geriatric rehabilitation and functional outcomes.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
