Per Diem Physical Therapist
About The Position
Maine Veterans’ Homes in Scarborough is seeking a skilled and compassionate Per Diem Physical Therapist to join its collaborative therapy team. The role offers flexible scheduling and the opportunity to support residents alongside a highly skilled, interdisciplinary team. The therapy team is collaborative and fully integrated throughout the home. The Physical Therapist evaluates and treats residents, communicates with residents, families, physicians, and other healthcare team members, and maintains accurate documentation of services in the medical record. The position requires weekday availability and occasional weekend and holiday work based on facility needs.
Requirements
- Current Maine Physical Therapist license in good standing.
- Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, in English.
- Basic computer skills.

- Experience in a long-term care environment preferred.
