About The Position

This is a temporary travel assignment for a Physical Therapist in a hospital setting in Davenport, WA. The assignment is for 13 weeks, with a start date of 09/08/2026. The role involves consulting with patients, diagnosing movement dysfunction, developing rehabilitation plans, administering hands-on therapies, documenting care, and collaborating with a rehabilitation team. The work will primarily be outpatient with some inpatient care as needed.

Requirements

Master’s Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program
Current Physical Therapist state license
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) or ability to obtain within 6 months of hire
Experience working directly with patients in a long-term care or hospital setting
Documentation skills
Strong verbal communication
Ability to work as part of a multidisciplinary team
Ability to work in a hospital setting and to comply with assignment requirements

Responsibilities

Consult with patients to learn about their physical condition and review medical history and referrals
Diagnose movement dysfunction by observing patients and evaluating functional abilities
Develop an individualized rehabilitation plan and coach patients through therapeutic exercises and stretches
Administer hands-on therapies (e.g., massage) and use modalities to alleviate pain and promote healing
Document care in patient records, monitor progress, and communicate status to physicians, nurses, and families as appropriate
Collaborate with rehabilitation teammates to coordinate care and optimize outcomes; perform primarily outpatient work with some inpatient care as needed
Maintain professional communication, confidentiality, and culturally sensitive interactions with patients and families
