About The Position

This is a travel assignment for a Physical Therapist in Corvallis, Oregon, starting on 08/31/2026 for 13 weeks. The role is located in a short-term acute care hospital setting and involves 40 hours per week, scheduled as four 10-hour daytime shifts. The position includes weekend daytime coverage as needed and is a shared role supporting multiple care sites within the region.

Requirements

Current unencumbered Oregon Physical Therapy license
Healthcare Provider BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
Ability to travel to multiple points of care across the region
Must be able to work in a hospital-based rehabilitation setting
Availability for weekend daytime coverage as needed (7:30–18:00)

Responsibilities

Evaluate and treat patients with injuries or conditions affecting mobility and functional independence; develop and adjust individualized PT plans
Implement evidence-based rehabilitation interventions and monitor patient progress toward goals
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary rehab team and medical staff; participate in discharge planning and care coordination
Document assessments, treatment plans, progress notes, and communications with the care team
Educate patients and families on exercises, safety, home programs, and follow-up needs; ensure patient safety and infection control
