About The Position

The Physical Therapist works in a skilled nursing setting, evaluating and treating patients recovering from orthopedic surgeries, neurological events, cardiac conditions, and general deconditioning. The therapist develops individualized treatment plans and collaborates with nursing, physicians, families, and the broader interdisciplinary care team to help patients reach their highest level of independence. The role offers a manageable caseload and supports evidence-based care and clinical judgment. Structured mentorship is available for new graduates.

Requirements

• Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) or a Master's degree from an accredited physical therapy program.
• Current New York State physical therapist license or eligibility to obtain one.
• Passion for geriatric rehabilitation and functional outcomes.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities
