About The Position

The Physical Therapist works in a skilled nursing setting, evaluating and treating patients recovering from orthopedic surgeries, neurological events, cardiac conditions, and general deconditioning. The therapist develops individualized treatment plans and collaborates with the interdisciplinary care team to help patients achieve meaningful functional outcomes and return to their highest level of independence. The role offers manageable caseloads and respect for clinical judgment. New graduates are encouraged to apply and receive structured mentorship.

Requirements

• Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) or a Master's degree from an accredited physical therapy program.
• Current New York State physical therapy license or eligibility to obtain one.
• Passion for geriatric rehabilitation and functional outcomes.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities
