About The Position

Discovery at Home is seeking a Physical Therapist in Sun City, FL, to serve the Aston Gardens Sun City Center or the Aston Gardens At The Courtyards campuses. This position primarily involves home visits with the potential for some caseload within assisted and independent living communities. The patient population is mainly geriatric, with most cases under Medicare Part A Home Health, and some Part B. PRN candidates will be considered.

Requirements

Graduation as a Doctor of Physical Therapy (or equivalent standing)
State license as a Physical Therapist
Eligible for FL state licensure as a Physical Therapist.
Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
Must have a current CPR certification.
Must have a minimum of 1 year of prior home care experience.
Employment in Florida is contingent upon completion of a Level 2 background screening in accordance with Florida AHCA requirements.
Applicants will be required to complete fingerprinting and background screening through the AHCA Clearinghouse.

Nice To Haves

Part-time and PRN candidates will also be considered, up to 3 days per week.
Open to candidates who require sponsorship to work in the United States.
