About The Position
Adena Health System is seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist to provide direct, personalized care to a diverse patient population at Adena Rehab & Wellness Center West. The role focuses on helping patients regain mobility, reduce pain, and return to daily activities as part of a multidisciplinary team committed to clinical excellence and compassionate care. The Physical Therapist evaluates and diagnoses patients, develops individualized treatment plans, and delivers evidence-based care. The role also includes accurate documentation, supervision and guidance of physical therapy assistants, collaboration with clinicians and providers, participation in improvement efforts, and efficient schedule management. This is a casual position with a stated casual rate of $60. Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Strong clinical skills, a collaborative spirit, and commitment to continuous growth.
- High moral and professional standards and a passion for patient advocacy.
Nice To Haves
- One to two years of direct patient care experience; preferred but not required.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate and diagnose patients and develop treatment plans tailored to individual needs.
- Deliver high-quality, evidence-based physical therapy across a variety of settings.
- Document care effectively and accurately to support continuity and compliance.
- Supervise and guide physical therapy assistants involved in patient care.
- Collaborate with clinicians and providers to support successful patient outcomes.
