About The Position
InHome Therapy is hiring a licensed home care Physical Therapist to provide in-home care to adult and geriatric patients in and around Oak Park. The role offers schedule flexibility, autonomy, a consistent caseload, and clinical and administrative support. Compensation is paid per visit, with an evaluation visit rate ranging from $65 to $85. Final compensation depends on experience, qualifications, and internal equity. Benefits eligibility varies by employment status and weekly hours worked; some roles qualify for medical benefits only, while others qualify for medical benefits and PTO. Additional offerings may include a 401(k), life and disability coverage, voluntary supplemental insurance, and a company-paid Employee Assistance Program. A sign-on bonus is available.
Requirements
- Active physical therapy (PT) license in good standing.
- BLS CPR certification.
- Reliable transportation to visit patients in their homes.
- Basic comfort with technology, including email, texting, and EMR systems; training is provided.
Responsibilities
- Deliver in-home physical therapy services to adult and geriatric patients in the community.
- Evaluate patient mobility, strength, and function to develop individualized treatment goals.
- Implement rehabilitation and therapeutic exercise programs.
- Educate patients and families about recovery plans and preventive care.
- Maintain accurate and timely home health care documentation according to Medicare and agency standards.
