About The Position

The Physical Therapist I evaluates and treats patients within legal and professional guidelines and hospital and departmental policies and procedures. The role develops and implements plans of care to improve, restore, and enhance physical functional performance and promote injury prevention. The Physical Therapist also instructs and directs Physical Therapist Assistants and Rehab Technicians as assigned, and completes documentation and quality-improvement activities in accordance with departmental policies and procedures.

This is a full-time, day-shift position at Franciscan Health Crawfordsville Campus, with the opportunity to work at various Franciscan Health therapy locations. New graduates are welcome. The role offers 1:1 therapist/patient-focused care, mentorship, and continuing education opportunities. A sign-on bonus may be available; eligibility should be discussed with a Talent Acquisition Advisor.

Requirements

• Minimum of a Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited program.
• Valid license or temporary permit for the applicable state.
• Ability to adapt and respond quickly to changing priorities.
• Ability and willingness to work in a team environment.
• Experienced and new graduate Physical Therapists are eligible.
