About The Position

The Physical Therapist I evaluates and treats patients in accordance with legal and professional guidelines, hospital and departmental policies, and procedures. The role evaluates and implements plans of care to improve, restore, and enhance physical functional performance and promote injury prevention. The Physical Therapist completes documentation and quality-improvement activities as outlined by departmental policies and procedures, and instructs and directs Physical Therapist Assistants and Rehab Technicians as assigned. The position is full-time, days, at Franciscan Health Lafayette Central Campus in Lafayette, Indiana, with opportunities to work at various Franciscan Health therapy locations. New graduates are welcome. The role offers 1:1 therapist/patient-focused care, mentorship, continuing education opportunities, and a sign-on bonus that may be available to eligible candidates.

Requirements

Minimum of a Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited program.
Valid license or temporary permit for the applicable state.
Ability to adapt and respond quickly to changing priorities.
Ability and willingness to work in a team environment.
Experienced and new graduate Physical Therapists are eligible.
