About The Position

Adoration Home Health is seeking a dedicated Home Health Physical Therapist to provide patient-centered care in Van Buren, Arkansas, and surrounding areas. The role provides one-to-one care in patients’ homes, with independent work supported by a team. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. A $10,000 sign-on bonus is available to external candidates only.

Requirements

• Graduate of a Physical Therapist education program approved by CAPTE.
• Current Physical Therapist licensure in the state.
• American Heart Association CPR certification; CPR certification may be offered and completed upon hire.
• Two years of experience in adult physical therapy.
• Excellent observation, verbal and written communication, problem-solving, and basic math skills.
• Physical therapy skills as specified by the competency checklist.

Nice To Haves

• Home health experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and treat patients according to physician orders, including recommending and procuring adaptive equipment.
• Establish measurable goals and develop treatment plans to help patients reach their maximum level of independence and function.
• Communicate with the treatment team, physicians, patients, and family members as applicable.
• Maintain thorough, timely documentation of services to support accurate billing.
• Supervise Physical Therapist Assistants and Physical Therapy Aides in direct patient care and related activities in accordance with the state practice act.
