About The Position

Amedisys is hiring a full-time Home Health Physical Therapist to help patients heal and maintain their wellbeing at home. The position is for candidates with an active physical therapy license in the state where they will work. Compensation is $106,080–$117,000, with a $10,000 sign-on bonus. Compensation may vary by location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The Physical Therapist helps patients maintain, restore, and improve movement, activity, and function. The role includes providing interventions, conducting reexaminations at least every 30 days, adjusting interventions as needed, and planning for discharge. Other duties may be assigned. Requirements

Current license to practice physical therapy in the state assigned.
Graduate of an accredited physical therapy educational program as established by CAPTE.
One year of related physical therapy experience for PTs entering home health care. Applicants with less than one year of experience require regional clinical-leader approval and appropriate mentoring and/or participation in a residency program.
Current CPR certification.
