About The Position
A healthcare organization in King City, California is seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist to provide comprehensive rehabilitation services in both inpatient and outpatient settings. The Physical Therapist will evaluate and treat patients under physician direction using evidence-based therapeutic procedures and modalities designed to restore mobility, strength, coordination, and functional independence. This role focuses on delivering individualized patient care while promoting recovery, safety, and improved quality of life in accordance with state practice standards and rehabilitation best practices.
Requirements
- Current California Physical Therapist license required
- Less than 1 year of experience required

Responsibilities
- Evaluate patients referred for physical therapy services

- Administer therapeutic exercises, manual therapy techniques, and rehabilitation modalities
- Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans as appropriate
- Maintain a high standard of patient-centered care and safety
- Restore muscle strength, flexibility, range of motion, and body alignment
- Improve mobility, balance, endurance, and independence with daily activities
- Utilize evidence-based rehabilitation techniques to support recovery outcomes
- Educate patients and caregivers on home exercise programs, injury prevention, and mobility strategies
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
- Ensure compliance with state regulations, clinical standards, and organizational policies
- Follow safety procedures and rehabilitation department protocols
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, case managers, and rehabilitation staff to coordinate patient care
- Participate in interdisciplinary treatment planning and discharge coordination
- Support a collaborative and positive rehabilitation environment
