Full-time Physical Therapist
About The Position
Functional Pathways is hiring a full-time Physical Therapist at Kendal at Lexington in Lexington, Virginia. The role is based at a nonprofit Life Plan Community on an 84-acre campus in the Shenandoah Valley. The therapist works as part of a collaborative, interdisciplinary team focused on resident wellness and patient-centered care. The Physical Therapist screens and evaluates patients, conducts re-evaluations, plans discharges, and revises established plans of care under physician supervision. Functional Pathways provides clinical services across the continuum of care and uses evidence-based, holistic programs addressing neurological, cardiopulmonary, cognitive, and musculoskeletal needs. Specialty programs may include aquatic therapy and non-invasive interventions. Training and certification are available through CORE4+ and Wellness offerings. The schedule is Monday through Friday. A $10,000 sign-on bonus is offered to direct applicants only.
Requirements
- Bachelor's, master’s, or doctorate degree in physical therapy from an accredited program.
- Certification and licensure as required by state and national board associations.
- Active state license.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Current working knowledge of Functional Pathways policies and procedures and clinical programs, with application skills relevant to therapy disciplines.
- Ability to supervise Physical Therapy Assistants.
- Completion of all required screenings, certifications, and licensure; screening requirements may vary by location.
