About The Position
Memorial Hospital in Belleville, Illinois, is seeking a Physical Therapist for its outpatient setting. The state-of-the-art facility serves a diverse patient population and offers experience in orthopedics, sports medicine, neurologic, vestibular/balance, and oncology rehabilitation, as well as specialty programs in lymphedema and hand therapy. Experienced and new graduate physical therapists may apply. Each therapist receives a continuing education budget, and patient care is provided one-to-one. The role provides skilled physical therapy services, including evaluation and treatment. Memorial Rehabilitation Services provides inpatient and outpatient services using modalities, manual therapy, supervised exercise and home exercise programming, electro-diagnostic testing, activities of daily living training, cognitive testing, fitting of orthotic, prosthetic, and other protective devices, sports medicine, and hand therapy.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy.
- Physical Therapist license.

- Master's degree in Physical Therapy.
- Experienced and new graduate physical therapists may apply.
Responsibilities
- Establish treatment plans and provide treatment, considering discharge needs, expected discharge functional status, and appropriate equipment and supplies.
- Educate and collaborate with patients, families, and other health care providers, and make recommendations for referrals to specialists as needed.
- Delegate to assistants, technicians, and students through written and verbal communication, including determining the skill level or competency required to provide interventions that meet patient needs.
- Complete documentation in accordance with departmental policies.
- Provide assessment, reassessment, and/or consultations for Physical Therapy Services.
