About The Position

PAM Health is seeking a full-time Physical Therapist to provide care for a diverse patient population at its Jacksonville specialty location. The role involves managing patients and delivering, directing, and supervising age-appropriate care in accordance with the applicable state Physical Therapy Practice Act, professional ethics, and PAM Health policies and procedures. Therapists may work with patients across a wide range of functional levels, including coma stimulation, ventilator-dependent care, and advanced balance and mobility training. They use clinical judgment to tailor treatment length, frequency, and approach to patient needs and collaborate with other therapy disciplines. Full-time therapists generally work Monday through Friday, with rare weekend requirements.

Requirements

PT license in the state where the hospital or clinic resides.
Current BLS certification.

Nice To Haves

One year of clinical experience is preferred.
Prior inpatient hospital experience or a desire and commitment to learn.

Responsibilities

Manage patients and patient care.
Deliver, direct, and supervise age-appropriate care in accordance with the state Physical Therapy Practice Act, professional code of ethics, and PAM Health policies, procedures, and guidelines.
Perform other related duties as assigned or requested.
