About The Position
PAM Health is seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to care for its diverse patient population. The role primarily provides direct patient care under the direction of a Physical Therapist, planning and implementing specific treatment programs for individual patients in accordance with the principles and practices of Physical Therapy in the PAM Health System. The PTA will also contribute to further development of the services and must be flexible to meet the needs of the system across different facilities. PAM Health cares for chronically and critically ill patients who require extended hospital care.
Requirements
- PTA license in the state where the hospital or clinic resides.
- Current BLS certification.
Nice To Haves
- One year of clinical experience is preferred.
- Prior inpatient hospital experience, or a desire and commitment to learn.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care under the direction of a Physical Therapist.
- Plan and implement treatment programs for individual patients according to Physical Therapy principles and practices in the PAM Health System.
- Participate in the further development of the services.
- Remain flexible to meet the system’s needs across different facilities.
