About The Position

This is a 13-week travel assignment for a Physical Therapist in Bakersfield, California. Requirements

  • Active California physical therapy license in good standing
  • Graduation from an accredited physical therapy program
  • Ability to work 40 hours per week (4x10-hour shifts) in a travel assignment
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills to work within an interdisciplinary team
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and implement PT treatment plans and document patient progress

Responsibilities

  • Plan and conduct segments of treatment programs designed to restore and improve physical, social, and mental functions, aligned with department objectives
  • Assess patient status, establish goals, and implement therapeutic interventions
  • Monitor patient progress, modify plans as needed, and document outcomes accurately
  • Participate as a co-leader in an interdisciplinary approach to patient groups, contributing to care planning and coordination
  • Provide education to patients and families on exercises, safety, and home programs
  • Ensure compliance with safety, documentation, and professional standards in all activities
