About The Position

This is a 13-week travel assignment for a Physical Therapist in Bakersfield, California. The position offers a weekly pay range of $2,612–$2,796 and requires a 4x10-hour day shift schedule, totaling 40 hours per week.

Requirements

Active California physical therapy license in good standing
Graduation from an accredited physical therapy program
Ability to work 40 hours per week (4x10-hour shifts) in a travel assignment
Strong communication and collaboration skills to work within an interdisciplinary team
Demonstrated ability to develop and implement PT treatment plans and document patient progress

Responsibilities

Plan and conduct segments of treatment programs designed to restore and improve physical, social, and mental functions, aligned with department objectives
Assess patient status, establish goals, and implement therapeutic interventions
Monitor patient progress, modify plans as needed, and document outcomes accurately
Participate as a co-leader in an interdisciplinary approach to patient groups, contributing to care planning and coordination
Provide education to patients and families on exercises, safety, and home programs
Ensure compliance with safety, documentation, and professional standards in all activities
