About The Position
Results Physiotherapy with Ascension - Saint Thomas, part of the Upstream Rehabilitation network, is hiring a Float Physical Therapist Assistant for an outpatient orthopedic setting in Bowling Green, Kentucky. The role provides coverage across two to three clinic locations. Full-time, part-time, and PRN schedules are available. The position is open to recent graduates and experienced clinicians and offers a collaborative clinical environment, mentorship, training, and professional development opportunities. The PTA provides hands-on, evidence-based care under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist, helping patients recover movement and improve mobility, strength, and function. The role includes tracking patient progress and collaborating with the clinical team, while building positive relationships with patients, providers, and the local community.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program, or be an upcoming graduate.
- Active or pending Kentucky PTA license, or eligibility for licensure.
Responsibilities
- Provide float coverage across two to three clinic locations in Bowling Green.
- Deliver hands-on, evidence-based care under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist.
- Help patients improve mobility, strength, and function through individualized treatment plans.
- Track patient progress and collaborate closely with the clinical team.
- Foster positive relationships with patients, providers, and the local community.
- Continue professional growth through Upstream’s mentorship and learning programs.
