About The Position
PAM Health is seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to provide care for a diverse patient population. The role is primarily responsible for direct patient care and for planning and implementing treatment programs for individual patients according to Physical Therapy principles and practices within the PAM Health System. The PTA works under the direction of a Physical Therapist and contributes to further development of services. Flexibility to meet system needs across different facilities is required. Prior inpatient hospital experience or a desire and commitment to learn is sought.
Requirements
- Hold a PTA license in the state where the hospital or clinic is located.
- Maintain current BLS certification.
- Have prior inpatient hospital experience or a desire and commitment to learn.
Nice To Haves
- One year of clinical experience is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care under the direction of a Physical Therapist.
- Plan and implement specific treatment programs for individual patients according to Physical Therapy principles and practices within the PAM Health System.
- Participate in further development of services.
