About The Position

The company is hiring a PRN Physical Therapist Assistant. Compassion and interpersonal skills are important, as the role assists patients with pain and injuries. Under the direct supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist, the Physical Therapist Assistant performs prescribed client treatment programs and activities and provides technical assistance regarding therapeutic programs, methods, and equipment. Work follows Concentra Medical Centers’ Injury Process Management and rehabilitation philosophy in occupational medicine. The position requires ongoing discretion and secure management of confidential and critical information.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program with an Associate’s degree.
- Meet the licensure or registration requirements of the state of jurisdiction.
Responsibilities
- Perform client treatment programs and activities as prescribed, under the direct supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist.
- Provide technical assistance regarding therapeutic programs, methods, and equipment.
- Follow Concentra Medical Centers’ Injury Process Management and occupational medicine rehabilitation philosophy.
- Exercise discretion and securely manage confidential and critical information.
