Physical Therapist Assistant - PRN
About The Position
NovaCare Rehabilitation is seeking a PRN Licensed Physical Therapist Assistant to join its outpatient orthopedic team in Seward, Pennsylvania. The role is suited to a licensed PTA with outpatient experience who values work-life balance. Coverage needs will be matched with the employee’s availability to create a workable schedule. Indirect supervision license is required. The PTA provides patient care under the direction and supervision of a licensed physical therapist, as mandated by the State Practice Act, and implements physical therapy services in accordance with applicable principles, practices, and Select Medical policies and procedures. Compensation is $30.00–$35.00 per hour.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited physical therapist assistant program.
- Passed a national examination for PTAs certified by CAPTE.
- Valid state physical therapist assistant (PTA) license, or license in process.
- CPR certification.
- Indirect supervision license required.

Responsibilities
- Provide patient care under the direction and supervision of a licensed physical therapist, as mandated by the State Practice Act.
- Implement high-quality physical therapy services for patients, caregivers, and facilities with minimal supervision, in accordance with physical therapy principles and practices and Select Medical policies and procedures.
- Maintain positive interactions with centers and patients and enhance and expand client relations with centers and their staff.
