As a Physical Therapist Assistant in a skilled nursing setting, you will treat patients recovering from orthopedic surgeries, neurological events, cardiac conditions, and general deconditioning. You will develop individualized treatment plans, collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team, and help patients regain independence. The role involves working with nursing staff, physicians, and families to support functional outcomes for a diverse geriatric population. Caseloads are described as manageable, and clinical judgment is respected.

TheraDynamics offers full-time, part-time, and per-diem options. New graduates are encouraged to apply and receive structured mentorship. Pay is based on experience and location; rates may vary by position, applicable experience, and employment type.

Requirements

• Associate's degree from an accredited PT program.
• Current Connecticut State PTA license or eligibility for one.
• Passion for geriatric rehabilitation and functional outcomes.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
