About The Position

Adoration Home Health is seeking a dedicated Home Health Physical Therapist Assistant to provide expert, patient-centered care in De Queen, Arkansas, covering Sevier, Howard, Miller, Little River, Pope, Pike, and Hempstead counties. This PRN position offers one-to-one care in patients’ homes, flexible scheduling, independent work with team support, and opportunities for advancement.

The Physical Therapist Assistant provides services planned, delegated, and supervised by a qualified Physical Therapist according to each patient’s Plan of Treatment. The role includes communicating regularly with the Physical Therapist about treatment plans and patient progress, helping secure and use adaptive equipment to improve function, and maintaining and submitting treatment and billing documentation in accordance with company, facility, funding-source, and regulatory requirements.

Requirements

• Hold a current unrestricted Physical Therapist Assistant license in the state of practice.
• Hold current Basic Life Support or cardiopulmonary resuscitation certification, in accordance with state regulations.
• Demonstrate knowledge of rehabilitation techniques related to complex neurological injury.

Nice To Haves

• At least one year of work experience as a Physical Therapist Assistant is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide physical therapy services planned, delegated, and supervised by a qualified Physical Therapist in accordance with the patient’s Plan of Treatment.
• Confer regularly with the Physical Therapist regarding the patient’s treatment plan, progress toward goals, questions, and concerns.
• Communicate patient needs and progress to the Physical Therapist of record.
• Assist in securing special adaptive equipment and incorporate its use to improve patient function and enhance rehabilitation.
• Maintain and submit patient treatment and billing documentation in the formats and timelines required by the Company, facility, funding source, and local, state, and federal regulations.
