About The Position

As a PRN Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) joining the team at Canyon Vista Medical Center, you will be part of a vital mission dedicated to making communities healthier. Canyon Vista Medical Center is located in southeastern Arizona and is committed to serving its residents and surrounding communities. The hospital is a 177,000 square foot facility completed in 2015.

Requirements

• Associate’s degree from a Physical Therapy Assistant program.
• Current PTA license in state of practice.
• CPR Certification required.

Nice To Haves

• Rehab or acute care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Administer physical therapy interventions as directed by the supervising PT.
• Assist in patient mobility and exercise routines.
• Monitor patient responses and report progress to PT.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation.
• Ensure a safe and clean environment for treatment.
• Team-oriented and patient-focused with strong communication skills.
