About The Position

Select Physical Therapy is hiring a licensed Physical Therapist Assistant for its growing outpatient clinic in Locust Grove, Virginia. The role provides an opportunity to build strong patient relationships and help patients return to athletics, work, daily life, and the activities they enjoy. The assistant delivers patient care under the direction and supervision of a licensed physical therapist and implements physical therapy services in accordance with applicable State Practice Act requirements, professional principles and practices, and Select Medical policies and procedures. The position is full-time, Monday through Friday, with compensation of $28.00–$34.00 per hour depending on experience. A $12,000 bonus and a student loan repayment program are also offered.

Requirements

Graduate of an accredited physical therapist assistant program.
Pass a national examination for PTAs certified by CAPTE.
Valid state physical therapist assistant license, or a license in process.
CPR certification.

Responsibilities

Provide patient care under the direction and supervision of a licensed physical therapist, as mandated by the State Practice Act.
Implement high-quality physical therapy services with minimal supervision for patients, caregivers, and facilities in accordance with physical therapy principles and practices and Select Medical policies and procedures.
Maintain positive interactions with centers and patients, and enhance and expand client relations with centers and their staff.
