About The Position

HealthPro Heritage is hiring a Licensed Physical Therapist Assistant for Harbor Inn Wellness Center East Harbor. Part-time and PRN options are available. The role provides direct patient care by helping implement treatment plans designed by Physical Therapists, monitoring and documenting patient progress, and educating patients and families. Outpatient experience is preferred. The posting lists pay up to $34 for part-time work and up to $38 for PRN work.

Requirements

Associate’s degree in Physical Therapist Assisting from an accredited program.
Valid state licensure as a Physical Therapist Assistant, or eligibility for licensure.
Strong assessment, diagnostic, and therapeutic abilities.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in diagnostic tools, therapy equipment, relevant software, and electronic health record systems.
Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

Assist in implementing treatment plans designed by Physical Therapists.
Provide direct patient care, including therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, and modality applications.
Monitor and document patient progress, and report observations to the Physical Therapist.
Educate patients and families on treatment protocols, exercises, and self-care techniques.
Accurately document patient treatments, progress, and responses in compliance with facility policies and regulatory standards.
Collaborate with Physical Therapists, other healthcare professionals, and support staff to coordinate patient care and support effective treatment outcomes.
