About The Position
HealthPro Heritage is hiring a PRN Physical Therapist Assistant in Bradenton, Florida, to support outpatient care in independent living and assisted living settings. The role offers a flexible weekday schedule, with weekend coverage considered a plus, and an hourly rate of $35–$40 depending on experience. The assistant implements treatment plans designed by Physical Therapists, provides direct patient care, monitors and documents patient progress, and collaborates with the care team. Requirements
- Associate’s degree in Physical Therapist Assisting from an accredited program.
- Valid state licensure as a Physical Therapist Assistant, or eligibility for licensure.
- Strong assessment, diagnostic, and therapeutic abilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency with diagnostic tools, therapy equipment, relevant software, and electronic health record systems.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities
- Assist in implementing treatment plans designed by Physical Therapists.
- Provide direct patient care, including therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, and modality applications.
- Monitor and document patient progress and report observations to the Physical Therapist.
- Educate patients and families about treatment protocols, exercises, and self-care techniques.
- Accurately document treatments, progress, and patient responses in compliance with facility policies and regulatory standards.
- Collaborate with Physical Therapists, other healthcare professionals, and support staff to coordinate care and support effective treatment outcomes.
