Licensed Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA)
About The Position
EmpowerMe Wellness is hiring a Licensed Physical Therapist Assistant to provide therapy and wellness services to older adults in senior living communities. The role is part of EmpowerMe 360, an integrated model connecting therapy, wellness, and medical providers to support residents’ independence, safety, and well-being. The position combines therapy delivery with care coordination and wellness check-ins. The therapist collaborates with other providers, communicates with caregivers, and may provide telehealth support. The role also contributes to program development and continuous quality improvement while maintaining professional and ethical standards. EmpowerMe Wellness describes the position as offering predictable schedules without late nights or constant driving, meaningful relationships with residents, opportunities for leadership and specialty programs, professional development, and a supportive team culture. The stated pay range is $29.00–$36.00 per hour.
Requirements
- Hold a current professional license in the applicable therapy discipline; the posting lists PT, PTA, OT, COTA, or SLP.
- Have a passion for empowering seniors to live their best lives.
- Demonstrate strong clinical skills and a collaborative spirit.

Responsibilities
- Provide therapy and wellness services to older adults.
- Conduct assessments, create personalized care plans, and deliver evidence-based interventions as part of a collaborative team.
- Support care coordination through wellness check-ins, caregiver communication, and telehealth support.
- Maintain professional and ethical standards in line with company initiatives.
- Contribute to program development and continuous quality improvement.
- Help residents maximize independence, confidence, and satisfaction.
