About The Position

HealthPro Heritage is seeking a PRN Physical Therapist Assistant to join its outpatient rehabilitation team in Seminole, Florida. The role provides patient-centered care in a collaborative environment with a diverse caseload. The assistant implements treatment plans designed by Physical Therapists, provides direct care, monitors and documents patient progress, and works with patients, families, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to support effective outcomes. Requirements

Associate’s degree in Physical Therapist Assisting from an accredited program.
Valid state licensure as a Physical Therapist Assistant, or eligibility for licensure.
Strong assessment, diagnostic, and therapeutic abilities.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency with diagnostic tools, therapy equipment, relevant software, and electronic health record systems.
Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

Assist in implementing treatment plans designed by Physical Therapists.
Provide direct patient care, including therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, and modality applications.
Monitor and document patient progress, report observations to the Physical Therapist, and educate patients and families about treatment protocols, exercises, and self-care techniques.
Accurately document patient treatments, progress, and responses in accordance with facility policies and regulatory standards.
Collaborate with Physical Therapists, other healthcare professionals, and support staff to coordinate patient care and support effective treatment outcomes.
