About The Position
National Wound Physician Group is hiring a Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (PM&R) Physician in Greenville, North Carolina. Physicians provide bedside wound management in post-acute care settings, including skilled nursing facilities and long-term acute care hospitals. The mobile practice involves weekly wound rounds at each facility, visiting two to three facilities per day within a 40–60 mile radius and treating approximately 20–30 patients daily. Clinical documentation is completed in real time at the point of care using a proprietary wound-specific EMR. The role offers full-time or part-time arrangements. Full-time physicians generally work four to five days per week, Monday through Friday, with a stated schedule of 7 a.m. to 4 p.m.; part-time physicians must commit to at least three weekdays per week. There are no nights, call, or weekend clinical responsibilities. Paid onboarding training and a six-month wound care fellowship are provided. This is W-2 employment; work visa sponsorship is not available.
Requirements
- Hold a full, active, unrestricted MD or DO medical license in the state where the physician will practice.
- Commit to a minimum of three weekdays per week, Monday through Friday.
