About The Position

National Wound Physician Group is hiring an Internal Medicine Physician to provide bedside wound care in skilled nursing facilities and long-term acute care hospitals. Physicians conduct weekly wound rounds at each facility and typically visit 2–3 facilities per day, treating approximately 20–30 patients daily. The mobile practice covers facilities within a 40–60 mile radius of the practice location. Clinical documentation is completed in real time at the point of care using a proprietary wound-specific EMR. The position offers clinical autonomy, flexibility, and work-life balance, with no night, call, or weekend clinical responsibilities. Full-time schedules are Monday through Friday, 7 a.m. to 4 p.m., typically four to five days per week; part-time opportunities require a minimum commitment of three weekdays per week. Paid onboarding training and a six-month wound care fellowship are provided. W2 physicians earn an average of $300,000 per year plus benefits for a 30-hour work week. The stated salary range is $200,000–$350,000 per year. Work visa sponsorship is not available.

Requirements

Hold an active, full, and unrestricted MD or DO medical license in the state where practicing.
Commit to working at least three weekdays per week.
