About The Position
This position is responsible for procuring blood specimens through venipuncture or skin puncture, preparing specimens for testing, and processing and accessioning specimens.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid Phlebotomy certification with the State of California Department of Health Services.
- Current American Heart Association (AHA) Healthcare Provider CPR card.
- Excellent venipuncture skills.
- Effective communication skills.
Nice To Haves
- Minimum one year of phlebotomy experience in an acute care setting.
Responsibilities
