About The Position

Perform blood draws and other lab-related procedures on patients in a professional and courteous manner. Verify patient identities and maintain accurate records of all procedures performed. Educate patients on the collection process, specimen handling, and storage. Accurately label and package specimens for transport, ensuring proper handling. Communicate effectively with lab staff, management, and other healthcare professionals. Adhere to safety protocols, including handling and disposal of hazardous materials, in compliance with OSHA, HIPAA, and lab policies. Engage in ongoing training and development related to phlebotomy, lab procedures, and safety protocols.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of one year of phlebotomy experience in a clinical setting.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Knowledge of safety protocols for handling hazardous materials.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Flexibility to work independently and accommodate a fixed schedule.

Nice To Haves

• Completion of a phlebotomy program or certification preferred.
