About The Position

The Phlebotomist provides patient care and customer-focused service at a location in Decatur, Georgia. Duties include performing venipuncture on patients of all ages, collecting and preparing non-blood specimens, and ensuring specimens are properly processed and labeled and tests are appropriately ordered. The role also champions safety, compliance, and quality control. The position has routine access to Protected Health Information (PHI); employees must maintain strict confidentiality, follow privacy and security standards, and access PHI only when required to perform their duties.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous phlebotomy training or experience.

• Two or more years of laboratory training or experience in specimen collection and processing.
• Certification from the American Society of Phlebotomy Technicians.
