About The Position

Goodyear is hiring an Automotive Technician for its auto service centers. The role inspects, diagnoses, and repairs automotive systems, including brakes, suspension, alignment, engine performance, air conditioning, and coolant systems. Technicians use diagnostic technology, maintain safety and housekeeping standards, and contribute to a supportive team through mentoring and continued learning. The posted pay range is $20.54–$38.11 per hour. New technicians receive a 40-hour flat-rate guarantee for their first 30 days and a 30-hour flat-rate guarantee thereafter. Requirements

At least three years of automotive repair experience, or three years as a military vehicle maintenance specialist.
Advanced diagnostic and problem-solving skills, including identifying, troubleshooting, and resolving complex mechanical and electrical faults.
Valid driver's license.
Ability to work a flexible schedule, including some evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Nice To Haves

ASE A4 (Steering & Suspension) certification.
ASE A5 (Brakes) certification.
State inspection license.
MAC certification.

Responsibilities

Inspect, diagnose, and repair automotive systems, including brakes, suspension, alignment, engine performance, air conditioning, and coolant systems.

Mentor teammates and continue learning new techniques as automotive technology evolves.
Maintain high standards of safety, service, and housekeeping while using protective equipment.
Perform manual tasks such as lifting tires and wheels, and standing, bending, and squatting for extended periods.
