About The Position

Omnicare is seeking a Back-End Pharmacy Technician to support medication fulfillment and regulatory standards for patients in long-term care and other institutional settings. The role works across assigned workstations in a closed-door pharmacy, including packaging, staging, returns, receiving, narcotics, IV, Ekit, compounding, Omnicell Cycle Fill, and machine packaging. The technician helps ensure orders are fulfilled accurately and deliveries are timely while working in a supportive team environment.

Requirements

• Current pharmacy technician certification, license, or registration, as required by state law.
• At least one year of experience as a pharmacy technician or equivalent experience.
• Verifiable high school diploma or GED.

Nice To Haves

• Prior experience in the long-term care industry.
• Prior experience in a pharmacy, retail, medical, or customer service setting.
• PTCB National Certification.
• Five or more years of experience as a pharmacy technician or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Rotate and work in assigned pharmacy workstations, including Packaging, Staging, Returns, Receiving, Narcotics, IV, Ekit, Compounding, Omnicell Cycle Fill, and Machine Packaging.
• Receive product deliveries, pull and stage products for distribution, rotate stock, and coordinate activities with drivers to ensure accurate shipments and timely deliveries.
• Perform physical inventories of medication.
• Help ensure medication needs and regulatory standards are met for patients.
• Review delivery orders and bins for accuracy as part of order fulfillment.
