Pharmacy Technician - Retail and Lab Positions!
About The Position
Reed’s Compounding Pharmacy, a Pharmacy Innovations company, is seeking full-time, customer-focused pharmacy technicians for retail and laboratory positions. The pharmacy provides personalized, high-quality medications for people and pets, creating custom solutions for clients. Lab Pharmacy Technicians work in the compounding pharmacy and are trained to prepare human and veterinary non-sterile compounds, including creams, suspensions, capsules, troches, and suppositories. Applicants for lab positions must have active PTCB certification and Arizona state licensure. Retail Pharmacy Technicians provide customer service and support pharmacy operations, including order preparation, data entry, packaging, shipment preparation, merchandising, and workspace upkeep. Applicants must have active Arizona state licensure or a Pharmacy Technician Trainee License.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- For lab positions, active PTCB certification is required.
- For lab positions, an Arizona State Pharmacy Technician License is required.
- For retail positions, an Arizona State Pharmacy Technician License or Pharmacy Technician Trainee License is required.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills or abilities.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- For lab positions, strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work independently and within a team.
- For retail positions, excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to work independently or in a team.
Responsibilities
- For lab positions, compound human and veterinary non-sterile medications such as creams, suspensions, capsules, troches, and suppositories.
- Provide exceptional customer service in person and over the phone.
- Perform data entry.
- Count, package, label, and prepare customer orders.
- Prepare and package customer orders for shipment.
- Merchandise and maintain a clean, organized workspace.
- Perform other pharmacy-related duties as needed.
