About The Position

Pharmacy technicians at CentraCare support pharmacists and are trained to assist with computer work, inventory control, stocking, and other pharmacy tasks. They serve patients of all ages, from premature infants to older adults. Retail Pharmacy locations include St. Cloud Hospital and Plaza. The role may be a career position or a steppingstone to other healthcare careers.

This is a full-time, onsite position scheduled for 80 hours every two weeks. Weekday shifts vary, with start times of 8:00 a.m., 8:30 a.m., 9:00 a.m., 11:30 a.m., and 12:30 p.m. Weekend and holiday rotations occur every sixth rotation; those shifts are 12 hours and start at 9:00 a.m.

Starting pay is $22.85 per hour and increases with experience, with a stated range of $22.85–$34.25 per hour. Certified Pharmacy Technicians have a stated starting pay of $25.85 per hour, with a range of $25.70–$38.57 per hour. A $2,000 hiring bonus is offered for full-time or part-time positions, subject to eligibility and program terms. Requirements

• High school diploma.
• Registration as a pharmacy technician with the Minnesota Board of Pharmacy upon hire.

Nice To Haves

• Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) certification is preferred.
• Previous experience is preferred.
