About The Position

Pharmacy technicians at CentraCare support pharmacists and receive training to assist with computer work, inventory control, stocking, and other pharmacy tasks. They serve patients of all ages, from premature infants to older adults. The role may be a career position or a steppingstone to other healthcare careers. Retail Pharmacy locations include St. Cloud Hospital and Plaza.

This is a full-time, onsite position scheduled for 80 hours per two weeks. Shifts vary Monday through Friday, with start times of 8:00 a.m., 8:30 a.m., 9:00 a.m., 11:30 a.m., and 12:30 p.m. Employees participate in every-sixth holiday and weekend rotations; holiday and weekend shifts are 12 hours and start at 9:00 a.m.

Starting pay is $22.85 per hour and increases with experience, with a listed pay range of $22.85–$34.25 per hour. Certified Pharmacy Technicians have a stated starting pay of $25.85 per hour and a listed pay range of $25.70–$38.57 per hour. A $2,000 hiring bonus is offered for full-time or part-time positions, subject to the stated eligibility conditions. Casual positions qualify for paid time off only.

Requirements

• High school diploma.
• Registration as a pharmacy technician with the Minnesota Board of Pharmacy upon hire.

Nice To Haves

• Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) certification is preferred.
• Previous experience is preferred.
