CVS Health•Orleans, MA
•$17 - $27•Onsite

About The Position

CVS Health Pharmacy Technicians support pharmacy operations and service excellence in retail locations. They are often the first point of contact for patients and customers, helping ensure prescriptions are filled promptly, safely, and accurately while providing caring service. Technicians follow company Standard Operating Procedures and pharmacy workflow procedures, communicate effectively, and contribute to a safe, inclusive team culture. After starting the role, Technicians must complete the company training program and meet applicable state Board of Pharmacy registration, licensing, and certification requirements. Until those requirements are met, the Pharmacy Manager may restrict duties. Depending on state law and additional training or certification, Technicians may provide services such as immunizations, point-of-care testing, and staffing offsite clinics. Where permitted, Technician Immunizers may help prepare and administer vaccines and perform related patient education, documentation, adverse-reaction monitoring, and vaccine-supply management.
