The Pharmacy Department operates 24/7, and this temporary full-time position (until August 2027) involves working day, evening, weekend, and night shifts. The role supports a pharmacist in performing various tasks according to the Ontario College of Pharmacists standards, including maintaining patient profiles, dispensing and delivering prescriptions, managing pharmaceutical inventory, and ensuring the availability of medications on wards and clinics. The position also involves reporting product defects and medication errors, maintaining records, participating in quality assurance activities, and potentially covering the Cover Kid Care Pharmacy. Training and orientation of new personnel are also part of the responsibilities.
