About The Position
The Pharmacy Technician assists the pharmacist with medication preparation and distribution, including preparing medications for automatic dispensing cabinets, repackaging medications into unit-dose blister packs, and performing medication inventory functions. The technician also participates in documenting medication histories at patient admission and assists with routine duties in the hospital pharmacy. This is a temporary, full-time position scheduled for 40/80.
Requirements
- High school graduate.
- Must hold a Rhode Island Pharmacist Technician 2 License.
- Math, typing, and computer skills are necessary.
Nice To Haves
- Graduate of a Pharmacy Technician Training Program preferred.
Responsibilities
