About The Position
This is a temporary, 13-week contract position for a Pharmacy Technician. The role involves patient service, prescription filling, and handling phone calls in a retail pharmacy environment. The schedule is full-time, 40 hours per week, from Monday to Friday, 9:30 AM to 6:00 PM. Orientation includes 8 hours of unpaid training. The facility operates on non-traditional holidays, remaining open on days like Black Friday and Christmas Eve, while being closed on Thanksgiving and Christmas.
Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a retail environment.
- Experience with the Pioneer system is a requirement.
Nice To Haves
- Knowledge of the Willow system is beneficial.
- 5 years of retail experience.
- Pharmacy Technician certified.
Responsibilities
- Ringing out patients at the service window.
- Filling prescriptions accurately and efficiently.
- Answering and triaging phone calls.
