About The Position

As a Pharmacy Technician at Sam's Club, you will play a crucial role in providing excellent service to our members. This position involves interacting with members to identify their needs, assisting with purchasing decisions, and resolving any issues they may have. You will operate pharmacy hardware and software, process prescription and OTC orders, and maintain the organization and security of pharmacy inventory. The role requires a strong commitment to company policies, ethical standards, and fostering a collaborative, respectful team environment. You will work closely with management and coworkers to ensure the pharmacy operates efficiently while putting the customer first and striving for excellence.

Responsibilities

• Provide member service by acknowledging members, identifying needs, assisting with purchasing decisions, and resolving concerns.
• Operate hardware such as cash registers, process purchases, and assist in payments, returns, and exchanges.
• Provide pharmacy products and services by assisting with prescription and OTC orders.
• Stock and secure pharmacy supplies and merchandise.
• Enter prescription information, file prescriptions, and complete required documentation.
• Organize and maintain the pharmacy area following company procedures.
• Complete work assignments and priorities by collaborating with managers, coworkers, and business partners.
• Comply with company policies, procedures, and standards of ethics and integrity.
