About The Position
The Pharmacy Tech Certified position at Sam's Club involves providing high-quality Member service by identifying needs, assisting with purchasing decisions, locating merchandise, and resolving issues. The role requires operating hardware such as cash registers, processing payments, returns, and exchanges. A primary focus is assisting with pharmacy operations, including processing prescription and OTC orders, stocking and securing pharmacy supplies, entering prescription information, and maintaining required paperwork and logs. Associates are expected to collaborate with team members, adhere to company policies and ethics, and support a culture of integrity, respect, and excellence.
Responsibilities
- Acknowledge the Member, identify their needs, and assist with purchasing decisions.
- Operate hardware such as cash registers to process member purchases, payments, returns, and exchanges.
- Provide Pharmacy products and services by assisting with prescription and OTC order processing.
- Stock and secure Pharmacy supplies and merchandise.
- Enter prescription information and complete/maintain required paperwork and logs.
- Collaborate with managers, coworkers, and business partners to complete work assignments.
- Maintain and promote high standards of ethics, integrity, and compliance.
