Pharmacy Summer 2027 Intern (Undergraduate)
About The Position
The Pharmacy Summer 2027 Intern will learn about processes and functions within the managed care industry while developing professionally through projects that support the business. The position offers opportunities to explore career paths, apply academic knowledge, learn new skills, research topics relevant to the intern’s functional area and industry, and attend training and development presentations. Applicants should indicate on their résumé which type of role they are interested in: a role aligned with previous pharmacy technician, retail pharmacy, hospital pharmacy, or similar healthcare experience; or a role focused more on data analysis, reporting, process improvement, or technology-enabled solutions. Prior related experience is preferred. The intern must remain enrolled in an undergraduate program at an accredited college or university through the internship period.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Must be enrolled in an undergraduate program at an accredited university or college through the internship period.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States without employment-based visa sponsorship now or in the future.
Nice To Haves
- Enrollment in a field related to the hiring department is preferred.
- Previous pharmacy technician, retail pharmacy, hospital pharmacy, or similar healthcare experience is preferred.
- Interest in roles focused on data analysis, reporting, process improvement, or technology-enabled solutions.
Responsibilities
