About The Position
The Pharmacy Pre-Grad Intern works with Walmart’s community pharmacy team to support patient care and pharmacy operations while gaining hands-on experience. The role focuses on customer service and the safe, efficient delivery of pharmacy products and services. Interns help improve customer health and wellness, advocate for patient wellbeing, and contribute to the pharmacy team’s goals. The position requires enrollment in an accredited pharmacy school. Preferred qualifications include Pharmacy-Based Immunization Delivery Certification. The role is based at 735 N Gospel St, Paoli, Indiana.
Requirements
- Be enrolled in an accredited Pharmacy school.
- Demonstrate proficiency in pharmaceutical care and implementing best practices.
- Ability to foster relationships with customers and the pharmacy team.
- Ability to cater to individual patient needs.
- Commitment to following HIPAA and PHI guidelines.

- Pharmacy-Based Immunization Delivery Certification.
Responsibilities
- Maintain confidentiality of information, documentation, and assigned records in accordance with Company policies and local, State, and Federal guidelines.
- Help process prescription and over-the-counter (OTC) orders and purchases.
- Deliver patient care by recognizing patients, assessing their needs, and helping them navigate clinical therapies.
- Receive and stock merchandise and supplies from distribution centers and suppliers.
- Manage inventory and maintain the pharmacy area.
- Participate in community activities, outreach, and events.
