About The Position

The Pharmacy Pre-Grad Intern gains hands-on experience in a community pharmacy while supporting patient care and pharmacy operations. The role helps customers with health and wellness, advocates for patient wellbeing, and contributes to the safe and efficient delivery of pharmacy products and services. The intern is paid and supports the pharmacy team's goals.

Requirements

• Be enrolled in an accredited pharmacy school.
• Demonstrate proficiency in pharmaceutical care and implementing best practices.
• Have the ability to foster relationships with customers and the pharmacy team.
• Be able to address individual patient needs.
• Follow HIPAA and PHI guidelines.

• Pharmacy-Based Immunization Delivery Certification.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the confidentiality of information, documentation, and assigned records in accordance with company policies and local, state, and federal guidelines.
• Help process prescription and over-the-counter orders and purchases.
• Deliver patient care by recognizing patients, assessing their needs, and helping them navigate clinical therapies.
• Receive and stock merchandise and supplies from distribution centers and suppliers.
• Manage inventory and maintain the pharmacy area.
• Participate in community activities, outreach, and events.
